Ticket sales for the European Para Championships (EPC) have started. The EPC is a unique top sports event, in which the best athletes from ten paralympic sports compete for European titles. Tickets for the event from 8 to 20 August 2023 are on sale via the EPC website. A day ticket, which allows you to visit all sports in Rotterdam Ahoy, costs €7.50. The outdoor venues and the 'city centre courts' in the heart of Rotterdam, are free to the public.
Tournament director Jeroen Straathof: "This is a unique event organised for the first time in Europe. With Ahoy as the main venue, but also various center courts in the centre of Rotterdam, we bring the sport to the people. By jointly organising ten European championships, we can offer several sports a top-level sports platform. I therefore invite everyone to come and encourage these great athletes this summer."
A day ticket of €7.50 gives access to all sports in Rotterdam Ahoy, based on availability. Preference for the sport you prefer to see will be made known when you purchase your ticket. The matches at the outdoor locations and city center courts, such as the boccia and wheelchair tennis finals at Schouwburgplein and the para archery finals at Kop van Zuid, can be visited free of charge. By doing so, the organisers aim to make the event accessible to a wide audience.
The European Para Championships will host para cycling, para archery, para badminton, wheelchair tennis, boccia, goalball, wheelchair basketball, para judo, shooting para sport and para taekwondo. Besides competing for the European title, a number of sports also compete for qualification points ahead of the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. The event will become a permanent part of the Paralympic calendar, returning to a major European city every four years.
Come to Rotterdam too and experience a spectacular and inspiring day where you can see the absolute top of para sports. Order tickets via www.epc2023.com

We believe that only cooperation can help us succeed in this mission. By making connections, thinking big and believing in opportunities where others see limitations, we want to give adaptive sports the attention it deserves.
