Medux, one of the leading suppliers of sustainable devices, will partner up with the European Para Championships (8-20 August 2023 in Rotterdam). Medux is committed to affordable and accessible healthcare and supports many healthcare professionals and end-users every day. Medux, with its brands HartingBank, Medipoint, Atlas Kidtech, MHG, Orthototaal and Eureva, will provide the athletes and their coaches with the necessary aids and support during the EPC.

Medux is delighted to be a partner of the European Para Championships to contribute to improving the freedom of movement, independence and enjoyment of people with movement limitations. René Martens, Chief Commercial Officer of Medux and four-time paralympic wheelchair basketball player, says: "With ten different paralympic sports, the EPC is a unique, international event in the Netherlands. Sport has brought me a lot personally and therefore I think it is great to help make the EPC possible with Medux and our brands. Getting as many people as possible to see and experience paralympic sports; that's what we're going for."

On behalf of the EPC, Jeroen Straathof says: "Medux is a leading party in the care domain that increases freedom of movement, independence and pleasure for people with movement limitations. We are therefore very pleased that Medux will ensure that the athletes lack nothing during the European Para Championships. Thanks to their products, knowledge and experience, they are a perfect partner to jointly set a new standard for Paralympic elite sport."

The European Para Championships is a unique event combining ten different Para sports. Para cycling, Para archery, Para badminton, Wheelchair tennis, Boccia, Goalball, Wheelchair basketball, Para judo, Shooting para sport and Para taekwondo will compete in the European Championships. The multisport event not only offers the chance for athletes to compete for gold medals, but also to gain qualification points or direct qualification for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.
